Leon Medical Centers (LMC), inaugurated in 1996, is a provider for Medicare patients in Miami-Dade County that offers culturally sensitive healthcare services tailored to the needs of the community.
“Leon Medical Centers was established to bring quality healthcare services to the Medicare population in Miami-Dade County with the goal of creating and maintaining an environment of respect, dignity and compassion while being sensitive to the cultural nuances of the population we serve,” said Benjamín León, Jr., Founder of Leon Medical Centers.
The family-owned business operates seven centers in Miami-Dade County located in Miami, East Hialeah, Bird Road, West Hialeah, Westchester, Kendall and Flagler, which offer medical services such as primary care, specialist care, on-site pharmacy and free delivery of medications, dentistry, ophthalmology, and other services at each medical center.
“We launched with one medical center in Miami and have expanded to five centers: a feat undertaken to better serve our patients. We are steadfast in our dedication to patients and to making each visit at any one of our centers a welcoming and enjoyable experience, which is the cornerstone of Leon Medical Centers and our family’s legacy,” said Mr. León.
Leon Medical Centers is founded by Benjamin León Jr. who has more than 45 years experience working in the healthcare industry.
